I’m getting a hatchie soon, she’s almost 4mo at the moment and don’t want to stress her out with bad enclosure.

The smallest tub I already own is 25L with a pool noodle cut in half with fake vines attached from spotlight that I made to see how it goes. It takes up a fair amount of room, more so with hides and water dish added. I can easily add or take away from it or get a smaller one.

I’m reading that 60x60cm is recommended or can only find sizing for adults. This tub is 57x38x17cm. My breeder currently has them in 2.2L tubs, to me it already looks too big and he says the 25L will be a bit to big until she’s 10 months or when she looks too big. So I’m not sure which way to go now.

Can I also use substrate yet, like aspen or sand? I can’t find a clear answer on this either. I did make a previous post but I think it was deleted straight away.

Edit: I’ve just found a 7.9L tub too.
