my bday was on the 14th. i got a nice new crab pot. went out and set it that day, next day i came back and it was stolen along with 2 other of my older ones but they left the witches hat one because its **** lol

Mattyg, that's such a shame :-( I live in a very fishing and crabbing area and a friend of mine was telling me today that stealing of pots is very common.....how horrible and selfish of people to do that. About 30 odd years ago, I had a small yacht and we had it moored in a sheltered section with other boats/yachts etc and vandals would often go underwater and unhitch the mooring....it happened to us once, but thankfully the boat stayed in place long enough for us to find it and fix the problem.
