To be honest im not too sure that this is an issue or not but i thought id see what feedback i get.
I have a 6 month old jungle python and lately ive noticed that his skin is not as soft as it was when i first got him maybe 3 months ago. i have also noticed very tiny left overs from sheding. Im wordering if this maybe due to low humidity or something along those lines. I do have a shallow but large ennough drinknig bowl so if the lil fella feels the need to get wet he can but ive never caught him using it.
Any Thoughts

i wonder about humidity
I would make sure you keep careful records and when the next shed happens get a water sprayer and spray your snake with a fine mist of water morning and night....you will find the shed comes away really cleanly.
if you are worried get a damp towel and let the snake crawl through it repeatedly all the dry bits of skin will come away.

Also what are you feeding...a 6 month old jungle should be on small weaner rats.....

Regards

Elizabeth
