So I've only had my jungle for 10 weeks, and he had his first shed (for me) in the first week/10 days that I had him. I just noticed yesterday that his eyes were just a little off colour, and definitely more milky tonight. He is due for his weekly feed tomorrow night so I am wondering if I should still feed him tomorrow? I know it can take a couple of weeks, so I'm guessing, yes, feed him?

Any other tips I should know during this time?

Some snakes will eat during this time, others won't, it depends on how strong his food response is. You can try to give him the rat, but there is no guarantee he will eat it, so you may end up wasting one unfortunately. Another alternative is to leave it in the cage for a few hours, that way the movement won't startle him.

I wouldn't bother offering food - a weekly feeding regime is far more than they would get in the wild (and far more than they actually need), so a break for a couple of weeks will do no harm at all.

I wouldn't feed him until a day or two after its shed. He'll love you for it!
