I put his hide half on the hot and half on the cool. He always curls up on the warm side so that's alright. But yeah he won't eat either. The warm side goes from 20 in the morning to 31 through the day. And cool said about 10-20. He always hangs up in the tree on the cool side. I just tried to feed him and after touching him with the mice and everything he just got heaps close and looked at it then have it a simple strike.
I'm having the same problem with my diamond/coastal intergrade. Same 30x30x30 enclosure too.
Mine stopped hanging out in the branches at the cool end when I put in two secure hides. Try a lightbulb box really loosely stuffed with scrunched up toilet paper/paper towel, my guy is actually using his hides since I changed them to those
