UPDATE: Healed.

Great news - the little woma is now almost completely healed - in a single shed. You really have to look very closely now, whereas before it was much more obvious.
It must have been a very minor burn or maybe just a really nasty dry shed in those areas.

I think the next 2 sheds will see this thing disappear entirely.

LOL, see, you were beating yourself up needlessly, glad to hear that it is coming good with no need for medical treatment apart from a bit of TLC on your behalf,

Unfortunately, yesterday morning my A/C system broke down, and it'll cost $2k to get it replaced, as they can't fix the compressor it's totally karked it.

I really hope it doesn't get too hot, but it gets up to 45 degrees in my place during the summer months. I might look at getting a window A/C for the time being.

I want to breed them next year, so A/C is a must to keep my place from overheating on hot days. So next year's babies will pay for the A/C. Not bad, but maybe I'll just suck it up and hold back the babies and build a rack system instead of selling the babies. My enclosures are acrylic/perspex clear, so I like to cover them up with a blanket. I will not be build any new enclosures or buying any for that matter. A rack system is better for so many reasons.

But my enclosures are a work of art and are truly beautiful to look at. I don't think my womas agree though, especially the male because when I first got him he just kept trying to get out at all the time, even has a little spot on his snout for his efforts, probably will clear up eventually, but I bet it was sore. Snakes are really not very bright are they?

I think he wanted a female, but being too young there is no way he could go in with her ;)

Worst comes to the worst and I can't make ends meet before summer to get the A/C situation fixed up, I'll have to let them go. I really don't want to part with them but I am not going to let them get cooked either. I won't accept anything less than what I initially paid for them as the female has grown considerably in size not to mention the food/energy costs.

But I'll just see if I can get enough together before October for a decent window AC that works. Only need it for cooling in summer.

Someone on this board really has some chutzpah. Gee, I envy those brass testicles. Figured it might be worth a try to seize upon my misfortunes - offering me an extremely paltry $400 for both of my womas...HIGH quality RHD womas at that. Talk about fearless. Wow, that was absolutely incredible. I never make the mistake of underestimating people but boy this took me by surprise.

Of course I didn't take the bait, and I told him where to go. I'm just not that stupid. He must have been drinking when he made that offer. A very fine example of creative thinking. NOT. But you've got to admit, it was a nice try wasn't it?

Anyone wanting to doubt the quality of my animals, just ask Jason who I bought them off - you can find Jason's old RHD womas for sale ad in here somewhere, it dates back a few months but it's there for all and sundry. My adult male is pictured on the grass which shows off his colours very well and my female is pictured on black cloth. Jason posted a recent photo of the mother of my young female showing off her spectacular colouration and pattern. For what it's worth, I have the father of my young girl, so I have a male and a female who are closely related and will carry on those spectacular colours and patterns. They should breed next year without any trouble.

I'm going to have to find someone with a portable A/C who is wanting to sell it for a reasonable price, as my window frames aren't strong enough to support a decent window A/C.

I don't want to part with them, and considering I've invested a great deal of money and emotional stress in getting these beautiful snakes, I think it's a bit rich offering like a bit over a 1/3rd of what I paid for them ($1100). I'm sure everyone in their right mind can agree that someone offering a measly fraction of what something is really worth - when they know damn well what it's worth - is someone who is either seriously inebriated or someone who has really really big balls. Either way, it really begs the question.

There is always someone who will offer ridiculous prices for and animal, you may think he is a stubby short of a sixpack, but he probably thinks he is an entrepreneur.

I don't blame you for being insulted, and i really hope that you can find a reasonably price air con before summer, maybe put your general area of residence in your profile so it appears under your 'join date' .... you never know, someone in your area may have an old aircon sitting in their shed......

I have my fingers crossed for you
