Our beardie has been lazy the past two to three days, he got moved to a bigger enclosure as he was quickly out growing his old one, Uv is fine, heat is fine, has water and greens.

Is it normal for beardies just to sit in one position all day long and not move with their eyes closed?

He isn't really interested in his food not even crickets or roaches, he has eaten a few tonight but not like he normally does as he is normally a pig.

I think he is around 9months old.

So the issue we have is he has changed from being active to hardly moving at all, has access to uv and heat but isn't moving from the one position.

Tonight we have moved him back to his old tank to see if he picks up.

Any advice on what else we can do?

This is our first beardie as well so could it be worry over nothing?

Thanks

Oh with the no moving he isn't on his branch basking he is just on the floor of the tank with his eyes closed and normally he is always active and on his branch basking or running looking for food.

Is he due for a shed? Sometimes they get a bit sluggish just before and during a shed.

beardies often sulk for a week or so when they get moved to a new enclosure or have alot of things changed,...

doesnt sound right that hes got his eyes closed and sitting on the floor of his enclosure,...ow did he go when u moved him back?

try taking him outside for some sun and see if the change of environment perks him up,....

Don't worry mate your not the only one. I am super worried about my little guy he has gone off his food and just seems to lay all day eyes closed and is rather inactive.
