very cute, i have three and they are a joy even if you only see them now and then

but im curious, they are nocturnal animals and only come out at night so dont need a light on during the day only heat if its really cold.........mine have NO lights just a ceramic heat lamp

both girls have been trying to dig to china lately, hopefully that is a good sign and they have gotten friendly with the male
:D

No lid is required as these Gecko’s can not climb smooth surfaces. No additional lighting necessary if animals are kept in a room with some provision of natural light from a window or skylight.

i have a window in here with blinds and it gives the room a filtered light (twilight) effect

am i wrong gibblore? as i said i thought these geckos didnt need lighting during the day due to being nocturnal? if i am wrong and they do then ill need to put a light in mine

im only going on what i have read in here and online about them

I think Gibblore means the addiction of keeping geckoes..

oh gosh i hope so , hate to think i have said the wrong thing

mind u my evil mind has been thinking 'racks' and 'geckos' in the same sentence and thats frightening me

ive also found a tunnel going under a fake branch, a half buried hide they live under and a half buried artifical plant from where the girls have been digging in the sand  guess they have been excavating which im hoping is a good sign as they have NEVER done this much before and such an appetite lately too
