These terror attacks don't really bother me, it's been going on for hundreds of years, only now, we got media to tell us all how 'devastating' 'terrible' 'horrendous' etc, etc, it is.

In this one i'm a fence sitter, i really don't care who blows who up and who arrests and tortures who, but i don't want to be dragged into another unwinnable situation, by arrogant, stubborn, senseless politicians.

No one seems to think about the 1000's of muslims who were killed during the crusades, they slaughtered men, women and children all with th eexpressed permission of the Pope! Now a few years down the track (in histroical terms) it's happening again, only this time they are not fighting it in the middle east.

I think someone mentioned that you reap what you sow.

Can we keep any flaming remotely on topic, lets not get petty and personal

I will add though that it is a minority of the muslim faith that feel this way towards the west, most look down upon these attacks in the same way as we do.

Unfortuneatly it is always the minority who spoil it for everyone else. Just look at our hobby. It only takes a few rogue cowboys to pass on some wild caught as captive breed and we could all suffer.

I definately agree with you Ether, it's an extremely small minority that are responsible, but that is true on both sides.

And that is why i don't feel part of the whole thing, that is why i don't want to get dragged in to a situation that could potentially reshape the world as we know it.
Coz as has been proven, it isn't the politicians who get blown up, it's US, the innocent bystanders, and before anyone yells about how evil Muslims are (they aren't) how many civilians died last time G.W.B decided t lay down the law!

It's about time in my opinion that the vast majority of law abiding muslims show us that it is a minority of their faith that hate us. I remember watching many muslims march and protest the american attacks on the evil taliban and terrorists in Afganinstan and also when they invaded Iraq. Or calling for an Islamic homeland in Britain under Islamic law.
There has not however been a protest and march undertaken by the majority of muslims calling for the end of terroists attacks and demanding that all Jihads be stopped and condeming Osama Bin Laden.
Why? Because while the vast majority of muslims don't go bombing people and lead lawful lives, they do agree with alot of the causes that these wanker terrorists fight for.

Is it really? I doubt that very, very much! They despise us and our lifestyles, our governments and our beliefs! Sure, in our face they are saying how bad it all is, but deep down they are sick f***** and are all in severe need of a bullet!

As a small example of how evil they are, they are still killing off the buddists in Thailand and various places by the bus load, one of the most peaceful religious groups that have ever existed. Muslims are a sick, primitive breed of people who will not stop until they are the last ones standing! Ban the religion I say! It's just another violent gathering with the same racists beliefs and hatred as displayed by the Klu Klux Klan!! Two faced, and evil! Plain and simple! :evil: :evil: :evil:

To say they are anything less is a reflection of our stupidy with political correctness! The same political correctness that suits them when they are getting their bombs and whatnot to their designated targets! :evil:

They are just people. The reason the majority who dont agree havent stood up to them is a simple fact. they are terrified. They have seen the trouble these jerks will go to to get back at whole other countries miles and miles away from their own and the damage they can do. It would be nothing for them to murder their own people for trying to speak out against them, and they do so on a regular basis. The ones who care are simply trying to survive and keep their families alive, and the only way they know to acheive this is to stay silent. To condemn an entire people for the beliefs and psychotic actions of the same people who terrorise their own as well is very narrowminded.
The people who do these things are indeed all the things you have called them, but their women and children who are terrorised into silence? the husbands who just want their families to live? are all practising catholics celibate until marriage? are all priests holy and good and trustworthy messengers of a higher power? do all members of any one religion believe all of the same things as each other?
All I am trying to say is that you cannot lump people all into one category based on some that take their beliefs too far.

I agree intensely with anqua21. In every group of humans on this planet, be it political,religious,sporting,herps etc you will always find bad apples no matter where you look. There will always be a minority that will undermind the true cause of what ever the cause may be by radical bahaviour. These are the bad seeds that need to be weeded out, which unfortunatly is easier said than done. Pitty it was like that or you could have an open season on the radicals, but we cant kill innocence in the process or we become just like them.
