All I am trying to say is that you cannot lump people all into one category based on some that take their beliefs too far.

Their beliefs as a whole are extremist! Their women and kids you so fondly talk about are amongst the group that are frequently reported as suicide bombers! It's beautiful religion again working its finest of works.

Sadly, in my book, if you come under the banner that represents something like this, you have to either distance yourself from it or take the finger pointing and distrustful views from the outer in your stride. If I came on here and said I was a member of the Nazi Party, but hey, I'm a nice bloke, which one of you would stick your hand up and say that I was??? Not many, if any, I reckon!

And how can one not pigeon hole them into the category when on the morning of 9/11 most if not all muslim/arab communities in sydney were singing and dancing in the streets, cheering the deaths of thousands of innocent westerners that were just on their way to work and none the wiser that day??? Im with moosey mostly on this one, ive personally heard their views on australia, western cultures and how accepting they are of the inocent killings. Imagine the **** i hear when i walk passed even the females and children when i am on my way home or doing something in public somewhere whilst i am in uniform, its not nice and with that attitude they can only expect most to blame the lot of em.
The thing that gets me the most, is that when they move to a non muslim country and then whinge and bitch about it not being a muslim country, what the fock did they expect before they got on the plane? they must have known the we were the kangaroo eating, beer drinking, barbequing best god damn place in the world, and so why do they have to try and change OUR ways.

Anyway, i dont want to go on too far, or i'll get really sweary and end up banned or god forbid upsetting someone that doesnt want to hear about lifes realities.

In Islamic rule countries such as Saudia Arabia if a muslim converts to another religion such as christianity, they under law will be executed. Also if any other person from a different religion is caught trying to convert a Muslim they are also to be executed.
Not only that but husbands can have their wifes put to death if they "think" they have had an affair. Fathers can kill their daughters if they bring shame upon their family.
Also their hate of jews and non-muslims comes from their koran. Such versus as:
A Muslim may not be killed if he kills a non-Muslim (Al Bukhari Vol 9:50)
Fight against those who believe not in Allah, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth [Islam], until they are subdued.

This is what Osama Bin Laden and his ilk are fighting for.
As I stated before, I do not see Muslims marching in the streets demanding an end to these terrorists attacks. It is up to the Muslim faith to show us why we should be understanding of them by proving they abhore these extremists in their religion.

Let us see what the Quran says about women. It says ?men have a degree (of advantage) over them? 2:228 ; that the witness of woman is worth half of that of man 2:282; that women inherit half of their male siblings, 4:11-12; that a man can marry two or three or four women 4:3; that if a women becomes captive in a war, her Muslim master is allowed to rape her 33:50; that if a woman is not totally submissive to her husband she will enter Hell 66:10; that women are ?tilth? for their husbands (to cultivate them) 2:223; that men are in charge of women, as if women were imbeciles or minors who could not take care of themselves; that they must be obedient to their husbands or be admonished (verbally abused), banished from the bed (psychologically abused) and beaten (physically abused) 4:34.

"Then I saw the (Hell) Fire, and I have never before, seen such a horrible sight as that, and I saw that the majority of its dwellers were women." The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is the reason for that?" He replied, "Because of their ungratefulness." It was said. "Do they disbelieve in Allah (are they ungrateful to Allah)?" This is only couple of quotes, there are many worse. Still hold that same position?
Look I have no agenda against muslims. Most of what I know about them comes from one of oldest friends who I went to primary school with. His family are Lebanese Muslims. They welcome me and I consider them to be great people. But when we have spoken about these sorts of matters they have very strong views on these issues.

The reason they hate they United States so much has nothing more than seeing the Jews making a sucess of their lives there! God forbid should they concentrate more on fixing their dump of a country instead of trying to blow up everyone elses, their own country might actually find some normality and stability! Looks to me like the present day Iraqis might be actually contemplating building something that won't get bombed or used as a torture chamber! Funny how it's taken such drastic intervention to salvage such a primitive dictatorship! :?
