Well! Here I am to EAT my words! Apologies to all! I was talking the the owner of the snake last night and again asked how big he was - the answer this time was a bit over 8ft! He seems closer to 9ft when he's zipping around the place. I'll still get a measurement as he is still big for a Darwin and post it! Gawd I hope he doesn't measure in at just 8ft or worse...under! Thought I'd swallow some pride and come clean!

dont feel bad it is quite hard to tell a snakes size with out actually messuering it

Darwin in the NT is MUCH bigger than that, several kilometers at least.
