Moral Dilemma...

We were at Maccas down the coast yesterday for brekky. When the chick put my order thru, I asked for it to be taken up to $50 on EFTPOS. It came to $8.30 so there was $41.70 cash out. She put it through and the draw didnt open. She then called a supervisor. He gave me the cash, took my details and said if the draw is out today, he would give me a call. I havent heard from them, but I am however $41.70 richer!!!!

What do I do, ring them, drive back down the coast and give it back, or keep it???? I work in retail, and I know that in most cases, if someone got some free cash, they would not own up. Maccas is a big American Franchise, are they really gonna miss $41.70. It is also down the coast and probably gonna cost that much to take it back to them.

Then there is my concience that will probably get me in the end!!!

no, the money is still in there, but the cash for the food has been taken out.

God knows ive spent a shedload at maccas so just pretend i gave you the money as a token of gratitude for your patronage!!
