its quite terrible to know breeders keep them in such shocking conditions. ughhh it must drive them crazy. ive seen from a very well known breeder (cant say any names lol) that i used to buy frozen, had fleas alover them. Hence why i breed my own now. Thats another issue but jeeze lets hope we all dont come back rats or mice lol

How does Ivermectin go with feeding to snakes? Anybody know?
Its recommended for de-bugging and de-worming in pet rats, also cattle etc. And since it has such a wide range of animals it treats would it hurt reptiles?
Id like to know for my pet rats sake, but i also want to treat the mice and theyre snake food.
Some of the big rodent breeders dont bother controlling mites, ive seen them all over the rats still when i defrost one.

As long as it was used at an appropriate dose in the rat it should be fine after a wittholding period of two weeks. The only Australian reptiles excessively sensitive to ivermectins are turtles.

hey everybody, just keeping you all posted about the mites my rats had.. so far all i have given my rats has been revolution for kittens! and its worked great!!:D:D:D:D a little costly but.... simple, effective, n no messing about! in a standard pack of 3 theres enough to do 20-25 rats.. just 1 drop on the back of there necks and there done!! will keep you up dated on their progress. thanks again to everybody that responded.:D:D:D

not sure, im personally waiting for 1 month.. as ive already got rats in the freezer. i dont know either if it causes birth defects, i guess i'll find out in the next few days. i dont think it would.

well by the looks of things giving them revolution has caused no birth defects so far! i have 8 females that have already given birth to litters of between 15-20 with no 2headed babies, with more females due any day...
