Whats the point of expressing your enclosures as a volume anyway, and more to the point as a volume in liquid capacity. The Code of practice expresses the floor area as being the important factor for most species, volume doesnt relate to this at all. Even if your talking about climbing species, a large volume doesnt always imply a tall enclosure... whats the point. In any case cubic metres or feet or cm makes more scence than litres. Yes its easy to convert over, but why litres in the first place. You going to fill them up with water and put fish in them????

Just one other thing sorry sxe, after having ago at everyone because you suggest they cant do "basic maths" your calculations are way off. your 5.4m x 2.1m x 0.6m enclosure is 6804000 cubic centimetres, or 6.804 cubic metres, which equates to 6804 cubic litres, not over 68,000. In other words if you were to fill your bank of enclusures up with water they would weigh 6.804 tonnes, not the 68 tonnes you calculated... maybe this is "rocket science" for some of us

Sxereturn, Jonno I have said in the past what I think of you ! a fact which I am sure you probably don't care about, But I think that It is you who should be careful about burning bridges and all the rest of that childish crap sayings, You more often then not come across rude, arogant and often ignorant towards others. Also in my opnion you quite often ride the line of what is exceptable here in APS, I don't know why and in the end don't really care. It is an unfortunate fact that I know for sure that most people here on APS take littl notice and have a " what crap will he say now?" sort of attitude when your name appears on a post. This is something that I find a real shame for I do belive you have a true passion and keen interest in herps(a fact I have stood up for you on in the past) but you need to learn how to interact with others and jumping straight down peoples throats isn't the way to do it nor is critisim. I know the sting of it and the reprisals as I to have been known to go off at times, but I am trying to stem the flow of anger. You bagged Simon for his limited amount of years worth of knowledge but yet I know exactly how many years worth you have because you have told me in person on a couple of occasions now. It isn't about who knows what and blah blah blah. Don't attack, Don't make up stories about what you do or don't have and you will find that you will gain a bit of respect in here.
