I've just discovered these amazing snakes - they are so gorgeous and I'm looking into them (after telling my husband that of course, I would NEVER consider moving to colubrids or elapids...)

I've had some trouble finding more about them. Can anyone give a brief summary? I think they are just a morph of a brown tree snake aren't they? If so, are they just boiga irregularis and therefore on a Class 1 license in NSW?

What is the general price for a hatchie?

Cheers,
Jess

Captive bred it really depends on locality for their price, but anywhere upto $1600 seems to be about right.

Wild caught adults have been available for $250-600 for the last several years. Captive bred hatchlings are pretty few and far between.
