I thought of a couple more non-fiction books.
Angela's Ashes - heart breakingly sad in places while other parts have you rolling on the floor in laughter.
Both biographies on Billy Connelly written by Pamela Stevenson.
Ruth Cracknell's autobiography, I picked it up for a couple of dollars at the markets and found it a surprisingly good read.
Dirty jokes and Beer by Drew Carey.
