My beardie hasnt eaten for 5 days..im hoping somebody can give me some clues as to what i can do to fix this problem. A friend who knows a bit about all sorts of animals and reptiles said my beardie might have worms. If this is the case what should i do? Any response to my dilema will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

How old is it, what are you feeding it with (type, size amount, etc)
What is the tank set up like (size, temps, heating method, substrate, uv etc)

Our dragon is about 14 months old. He's eatin about 3 - 5 crickets over the 5 days period.

He is still running around doing his usual thing, i really haven't noticed and change in the little guy, i personally dont think anything is wrong with him.. seasons are changing maybe its because of that im not sure.. but my mother is very worried

Feeding : Medium crickets dust every second day, Veggies Always available Feeding Box ( If he doesn't eat in there we try him in the Enclosure then sometimes he will eat not always )

Tank Setup : 1200 x 600 x 600 and its 9mm Ply wood

Temps : 35 - 40, and 22 - 24 100 Watt Basking Lamp - UVB Uv light

Substrate : News Paper

Could be just starting to shut down, i know my male wants to go into brumation now, but im constantly sticking him back under the light coz i dont want him to go in early like last year.
Hes slowed down on feeding too.

If you are worried its worms, you can worm it. When i get new beardies, i worm them with Reptile Science 'Worm-Rid' just as a precaution and never had any troubles.
I doubt thats the problem though.
Has it been acting sluggish or different to normal?

Where does it spend most of its time in the cage, cool or hot/basking side?

He hasn't been sluggish different.. he's been alot more active over the past 2 weeks, as well as the other 2 dragons, but they've slowed down a little bit.

He roams around the whole cage, sometimes he'll spend an hour in the cool zone then decide to wonder back and forth from hot to cold for a while then find a spot and laze about for a bit then do the same thing again

My 4 month old has slowed right down and like you said has also been lucky to eat 6 or so woodies in 3 days. Is still very active and vet has checked him out as ok.

Time of year i'm guessing.

any one else have any thoughts on this?

we are taking our dragons to a reptile Vet in Crows nest... all the vets mum has rang up have recommended this Vet.. any thoughts on it?

we didnt get to meet David Vella as he was in surgery 4 vets recommended him..and we got to talk to his assistant she Said... Our Dragon was in good health, mouth is nice and pink, there's a lump in her stomach maybe ovulating or eggs slight constipation....Feces clear of worms... and also said that if our dragon doesn't eat by friday to bring her back in and David should be able to see whats wrong with her..

At this stage it does look like we'll have to take her back on friday.. as she is still not eating...

Has any one got any idea on whats going on?
