Hi all, I have a Bearded Dragon thats 2 months old and has been in the same enclosure with his siblings (2 0ff) and I have just separated him as I have noticed that his rear feet have gone a little funny, the best way to describe it is they seem to be wet all the time and seem to be sticking together, like his toes are sticking to the other toes.......Can anyone help. Is this a disease or is he being attacked...If he is being attacked, it is not obvious any where else........
He is eating well, vegetables, crickets and woodies..........Please help......
:(:(:(

I think you had better post pics, havn't heard of such a problem before. Are their any dark parts on his toes, ie dried blood?

Moisture from sticky fruits could have caused his toes to stick together. Or he has been bitten by the crix or another beardy and raw wounds may stick together. You could try bathing him and try prying them apart. It probably wouldn't hurt to use a little betadine in the water which will help ward off infection.

There was a little blood (dry) last Thursday, so I wet up a tissue and lightly wiped it with warm water..........I kept a close eye on him and it seamed to get better. I did not take him out of the enclosure that his siblings were in at that stage, but I noticed last night that both his feet were like it now so I took him out and again cleaned them and soaked his feet and body for a while..........patted him dry and put him in to a separate enclosure.....

When are you noticing it? in the morning? are there crickets left in the enclosure over night? as they will chew on toes.

No all my Dragons are fed in a separate enclosure as I have both adults and babies.....and they are fed and put back in there own enclosure..........I only feed greens vegetables............I haven't noticed any particular time this occurs as I leave for work very early and don't get home until late.
