I'm into Track cycling, Shooting and Hunting, Camping and 4wding.
You'll find me most Sundays up at Hornsby Rifle Range trying to kill paper.

Work, drinking beer, fishing, drinking beer, work, reading all tthe odd stuff you guys post.

I my spare time i like to clean enclosures, house animals, remove parasitic loads, thaw out mice and rats. The rest of the time is spent in the field, taking digital photo's of herps, answering emails and sending them, washing calico bags and hanging them to dry, ordering supplies and visiting the airport to pick up or drop off herps. Sometimes i can even fit in giving the dogs a pat, sometimes.

I dont know how you guys fit all that other stuff in.

My added hobbies are...shooting (mainly at the range, though sometimes pig,roo etc.) i do TKD though just for the fitness. i work hard and party harder, love a good beer (XXXX gold).

light tackle Sports Fishing, turntablism (scratching), mountain biking...onroad and offroad.
Camping, i love it. Far too much time on computer... and building model kits, mainly the airbrushing... i love the fine detail work.

My kid's (5 girl's) yeah yeah I know........................Back to school today Yeah!
My reptile's even though I am only new in that scene!
and every now and then we squeeze a fishing trip in!!!! Not very often though

Zoos. Have always loved zoos. Most of my holidays have revolved around visiting zoos, or Zookeepers Conferences. Some holidays have been to the wilds to view wildlife in it's natural habitat - not just herps, but birds and mammals too. I s'pose I enjoy travel. But it's damned expensive.

I keep and breed a few birds, and have done for 25 years.

Books. About animals and zoos. Got more than 400 of 'em (used to claim them as a tax deduction).

Got more than 400 CD titles too. Also was a tax deduction.

Television. Bit of an eclectic addict over the years. Another deduction.

And I like movies.

That's about all I can think of for now.

Hix! Another bird keeper?
I myself keep finches, a past-time looked down on by other birders.
They're the best type of birds as i can plant out a large aviary and not have it destroyed by filthy parrots!


And Bryony, I started learning fire stuff at Sydney Uni Circus club (SURCAS) but have since finished Uni, and am skilled enough to teach myself from internet videos. Now I go down to Fire Night in Jubillee Park in Glebe on Thursday nights (from about 8:30-9:00 when it does'nt rain).
Usually a few fire twirlers turn up and we all teach each other what we know. Lotsa fun! and to everyone else- Beginners are always welcome!

I also do some fire twirling/setting myself on fire... been doing staff for about 3 years, double staff for 1 year and Poi for about 1 year...

Poi is so much easier after double staff.
