Oversized prey

Thanks to everyone who welcomed me and said Hi. I was wondering if you can feed your hatchling (10 week old Bredli) too large a prey as the breeder who I purchased her from was feeding her fuzzy rats.

You can ..I would go smaller than that for a 10 week hatchling for sure....

just feed several smaller items one straight after the other. if im ever concerned i just give downsize and go with more

Depends who you talk to, IMO fuzzy rats would be fine.

You can feed any snake a meal that's too large.

Personally, i would be feeding a hatchling hopper mice or pinky rats.

Mate you would be very surprised at what your snake can fit into its mouth! But if you think it is too big just down size like everyone else has said and up the quanity!

my thoughts exactly!!! id rather feed larger then multiple!! its all up to the individual but, as this is just my opinion....

I just got some bredli hatchies. About 40cm long now. Have never eaten a mouse or pink rat. Started off on small fuzzy rats and now will take a 2-3 week old rat pup. It leaves a large bump but its gone in a few days. If you can't find any small fuzzy rats a weaner mouse would be about the same size.
