Old fella if you like lost in space you can buy the dvd of the whole two seasons on e-bay. I purchased season one for $80 and are now getting season two. And as maxwell would say " loving it "

after reading the current threads on the gold card subject.I think yous are makeing a joke out of a very serious subject.As a long term keeper /breeder.I understand.Over the years so many have wanted help and advice and hard earnt exspearence from the 20 or so breeders/keepers that realy excel at this hobby.And in return for that exchange of hard earnt knowledge and help.The supliers have been promissed everything from yeh,gold cards to animals,toat times the person seeking your exspearence will suck up to you that much that they will promise you anything they have to just to get you to help.And 99.9 per cent of the time there promises are false.And then people wander why those that realy excell want help any of the new people starting out.Because we have been bitten to many times before.And then there are those that are new to this hobby who may have heard that guy he want help hes just a cranky old b-----d and they sit far away without knowing why this person has become a cranky old b-----d and post sld remarks to try and assasinate the persons ability and charictor.the resons why these promses are not kept usesaly are eg.sorry mate i realy need the money this year and besides I couldnt charge you!not after all the help you have given me.just wait mate il look after you!!yeah right .then you find out they havent sold any of what they promissed you.( times out of 10 they are probably stock pileing it.And then youl hear off someone that the reson they didnt keep there promiseis useualy not because they had needed to sell it but because they have told someone else that no im not giveing him that hes compatition.I beleave in doing to others as others have done unto me come on felas how about giveing credit were credit is due.Or i shuder to think what the future for this hobby will be.now let me say that this has been my exspearence in this matter and is in no way ment to cast simulareties on anyone else unless this has been your exspearence as well SHANE

STEVO im not very good at computers or spelling.Lucky its not an essential requirement of a good reptile keeper.But il take lessons in the computer after this breeding season.And i apolagise for the bad spelling regards SHANE from the real aussie pythons

Shane, i never meant anything by the Gold card comment, other than, 'get a ticket and wait in line'....was giving the oldfella a bit of stick......In regards to old breeders, it works both ways,...often they were helped by others as most of us, to achieve what they have, one way or another, whether it be physical effort(work), finances or support and friendship....remember it's in most cases, due to novices/newbee's purchasing animals that a larger breeders were able to expand.....In my case it was idea's, time, effort,and expence... hence the original 'Gold card' comment, wish i intended to mean, i come first,......nothing more,....not disagreeing with, or having ago at your posted comment, just expanding on it.......... :wink:

pilbra as i said in the post .This has been my exspearence as a keeper/breeder over the last 20 years or so.I ment i could understand.Unless ive miss understood what everyone was comenting about in relation to the 2 recent threads that covered the subject.For instance ive even had a couple of builders tell me that they would build me a house.If i pay for all the materials.They would build it for me at no cost.But since takeing this novice keeper under my wing and helping him learn how to keep and breed well.He is no longer a builder hes a full time breeder and tells me he hasnt got time to help me with building projects these days so i was bitten on the back side again.so i just ment i can understand the frustraeion thats all.I could write a book of examples .But I realise im not the first and want be the last person to have exspearences like this.Whats the world comeing to.luckly I havent thrown it all in.I beleave the best comebackis to continue helping people and to just keep and breed well regards shane
