Boa has made a thread on his hatched platinums, which look good, and I was wonder, what is a platinum, what makes it a platinum, is there any other "terms" that describe a snake that I should know?

cheers,
Will

Platinum Mac is a name coined by Indicus for a line of what is thought to be a naturally occurring maculosa/stimsoni hybrid. It is quite hard to describe what makes a platinum a platinum to be honest, often they have a much reduced pattern or obvious banding. The ones just bred by me have the banding but not the reduced pattern. They also go through many colour changes throughout their lives and often show shades of green, yellow and silver.
They are also said to be relatively small as adults.

Here's a couple of pics of my female. She doesn't look her best in these pics but they are the most recent I have.

Thanks, all credit goes to Indicus for breeding her. I was just lucky enough to buy her ;)

I think you should sell her to us, Saz :p
