Hey guys, I've kept snakes for close to 2 years now, and I've yet to come across a serious health issue with my pythons, but reading these forums there appears to be quite a few different diseases, intolerances and infestations that can all occur and hope that you might all be able to help me out here. Is it possible to make up a list of problems and solutions of general health issues and early warning signs?
Issues would include, and are not confined to, mites, vitamin deficiency, salmonella, cancerous growths, respiratory infections or god forbid, opmv.
Not sure if this has been touched upon or not, I've done a search but have not found a whole heap of information.
Please only make note of what you know or have experienced rather than He said she said I should do this.

This one is slightly different, found my spotted very flighty and bitey and very active more than usual ,didnt think much of it, kept taking the hits every time i went into her enclosure thinking this was normal. One day opened enclosure and heard a purple night light Globe rattling and vibrating quite loudly, she was going mental at me.... the penny dropped..... i changed from these globes to ceramics and she has settled down awesomely and is a brilliant snake now. Also had an issue with a fridge vibrating onto a bench which an enclosure was on separated these and solved problem. So if snakey appears stressed check enviroment, temp lights vibration drafts, anything you can think of. cheers Cracks
