Apparently mainly gecko's. I know CALM once demolished a termite mound in a study to see what animals lived in it and found 16 pygmy's in the one mound.
They will take thawed mice easily though i have found. You can see good examples of pygmy's that have been fed too much at Armidale reptle centre in perth, these guys look like adult stimsoni without the length.

they r nice pics pythonrockchik1 , damm i wanna buy some badd

hehehe..thanks Redline...wish i coulda got sum better ones but they hard to find online lol...ANyways, I hope they'll be legal one day...for your sake and evry1 else replying to this thread that wants one...but i personally not a huge fan...they a nice lil snakie, but not a fave

Nice pics pythonrockchik1, do you remember the website you got the pics from? Were there more? Thanks.

None of the animals in those pics do anything for me,stillreckon they're pretty damn ugly but i wouldn't mind an albino one

One things for sure though. When they come on the list here the demand for them australia wide will be huge, even for an ' ugly childrens '.
BROWNS, i will endevour to get pics of some pretty ones for ya.

Here's a couple of pics of some snakes I bought as Stimsons. Many people who have looked at them, including myself believe they may be Anthill Pythons (Pygmy's) as they haven't grown since I got them. The male is approx. 57cm and the female is approx. 65cm long. They also have only 3 heat pits and all my other Stimsons have around four. They are just over 4 years old. The picture quailty is not that great but have a look and tell me what you guys think.

Do a scale count if you can. Pygmy have between 31 - 35 rows. Both childreni and stimsoni have more than this

Swampie, nice pics mate. They look great, did you take the pics? Have you got more? Thanks.

Hi Womas, I've done a couple of quick scale counts on both snakes and came up with about 34-35 each time. I will do an exact count when they shed as it's a bit difficult with the animal moving around. Is there any other way to make a positive identification?

damm there nice pics. i wish i could buy some some1 out should have some for sale.

Even if someone had them for sale, we can't buy them here in melbourne. There not listed from what I know and who knows when that will happen, if it's the case. Finger's crossed hopefully soon.

If they happen to become available over there womas, how much do you think you guys would seel them for?

lol....hehehe, i know they werent gr8 pics of them and do no justice for the species but u try to find sum nice pics on the web....hehehe...quite a difficult task...sorry Livewire, i cant for the life of me remember where i got the pics from...all i know is that they werent Aussie websites...if fact I think one was French lol  Anyways i agree with womas in that despite the "ugly" sydrome some tend to carry, their demands will be huge once on the list :)
