Has anyone ever dealt with a python with a really bad attitude? If so, please tell your story! ;)

(I'm going to get in trouble, aren't I?)

Ah well, if it makes anyone laugh, it'll be worth it :) and if not, it was worth the risk :)

Twice I have met wild coastals with bad attitudes, one bit my camera - twice.
I also have encountered a lacey in a bad mood, it had been caught in a fox trap, released, caught in a fox trap, released, caught in a fox trap, knocked around a bit then released then I turned up and stuck a camera in its face. It actually snapped at me an lashed me with its tail, both "go away and leave me alone" attacks. I've attached a photo just before the "attack", can anyone read the signs?

You don't get to see those too often, where was the general area you photo'd him/her in fuscus, was it down south.

No, the third one is a "feed goanna at campsite and reget it" phase .
Why is that fuscus, eat you out of house and home so to speak, or just wouldn't leave until it had had its feed???

Jump in the enclosure with that Bells Phase at AZ and you'll meet an angry Lacey...the other one is fine, but that Belly is loco...

hugsta, I had spent the day walking around the park, got back to camp and took my boots off. This lacey turned up and I chucked a peice of ham at it.

It of course ate it.

Then it looked for more.

and saw my feet.

My pink, juicy feet.

To cut the story short I held the lizard away with a monopod (gently, but firmly) and put my boots on. After that we were cool, in fact he kept other campers away from me

Fuscus, sounds like my 2 Spencers. A few weeks after I put them outside in their enclosure, my worker stated feeding them live mice. They loved to chase their food around the enclosure and he thought it was good excersise for them which it was. The trouble was I had no idea he was doing this till I walk into the enclose with thongs on. One look at my juicy pink toes wiggling on the ground and they were after me. I could not get out the door fast enough.

When I told my worker to cease doing this he just laughed. He did not heed my warning that to feed large monitors live food would eventually result in a bite. Well 2 weeks later as he bent down to clean the floor, the biggest one snuck up behind him and grabbed his fingers of his hand he had behind him for balance. Karma
