QLD License Renewal

I'm just wondering how long it usually takes for the license renewal / record book to come through, seeing as they are doing everything through the DERM website now?

I applied and payed on the 30th March - but haven't heard anything yet.

Usually around 2 weeks.but i have heard up to 21 days.my last renewal was 8 days.

Well it's been 27 now so not sure what's going on - I saw the money get drawn from my bank for it, but I haven't received my record book yet or any sign of the license.

I payed for mine on the 15th of march and still havent heard from them

Well that makes me feel a little better, at least it's not just me haha.

Is it still legal for me to be selling / buying animals when my licensed is technically expired at the moment?

on your receipt you printed out????? should have a number starting with wiwl and i have been useing that number
i did ring them and that was the number under my name.........so i assume that is my new number

Oh so you get a new number aswell? That's a bummer, I have mine memorised, come's in handy haha.

yes a new number it will end in 12 for the year that you renew it

you get your number instantly with your renewal conformation email... well I did anyway. And about 3 days later I got mine in the mail. I'd call and quote any payment numbers etc and ask whats going on

unless the new record book is the hold up, maybe they don't have any in stock?

Hm I didn't get any sort of confirmation email either. I did contact them before I renewed as the email I had registered currently, I no longer have access too. They mustn't have updated it to my new one in time, the confirmation receipt probably got emailed to my old address.

I will contact them and see what's up anyway.

Sorry to bump this up again, just wanted to say everything has been sorted out now - I got a phone call from a 'Rowan' over at DERM this morning and he was very helpful with everything, props to him! If you ever need to contact anyone there, he would be the one to talk to. =)
