Sit on a beach and watch a ship sail away and sink below the horizon. This impiles a curvature of the earth between me and the ship. Exterpoliate.Fuscus said:I haven't walked around the world so why do I beleive that it is round?

Because I can see the effects, and study the theory and have run (high school) experiments of my own.Fuscus said:I have never seen electricity so why do I beleive in it?
Because someone is trying to make me accept a idea that seems too good to be true. Rather than accept the deal I would conduct an investigation into the authenticity of the deal. If the seller just told me to accept the deal without question I would think it is a con and walk away.Fuscus said:I have never purchased a bridge, so why would I think it's a bad deal?
1/ You evade my questions and repilies. I am quite willing to have a discussion with you re creationism and evolution. This is the standard pattern with creationists, A "fact" is produced, a counter arguement is proposed then nothing. for example, you impiled that because evolution was wrong because racsists used it, I countered with the chemical analogy then nada.SnakeWrangler said:You believe them because you are willing to accept what you have been told, I am just doing the same thing. Why does it upset you so much that I don't agree with you?
2/ In religious studies the preist HIT me for asking about dinosaurs. You don't hit a five year old for asking questions.
