Hard labor mate, man now has to work for everything that he needs. In the original design mankind would live in a perfect paradise, with everything provided for them. It is now mans job to do all the work and provide for his family.

And I am not trying to start a battle of the sexes here, if your a woman and you want to work and look after yourself, go for it.

Hey Peter, Jesus never came to restore this world, He came to bridge the gap between man and God that was created when man chose to disobey God, now through Jesus we are able to once again have a relationship with God (not the same as it was in the beginning, it is now a spiritual relationship), so if you want to benefit from what Jesus done then...well I think you can work out the rest of this sentence.

Evolution! How can you observe primates and discount that we have evolved from these magnificent animals.
I respect that notion that every individual is entitled to their beliefs be what they may but cannot sucscribe to many of the notions put forth by christianity because it goes against the basic premises of biology and it's functions in our every day life.
This can be illustrated in simple terms by how you explain conception and birth to your children. My kids have a hazy idea of how they were created( hay i am pleading a little ignorance here as i don't want my babies to be as grown up as they are :wink: ) but they are very clear on how they got from A to B with no intervention from the big man above.
For me there seems to be more tangiable substance to the theory of evolution than creationism.

So where are the "middle species" between monkeys and man? And don't give me this stuff about it takes so long to happen we haven't seen it, because there are monkeys today and there are people, so it only stands to reason that there should be the species that is in between us too!

And seeing as though we all know there are none of these "middle species" alive now, where is the proof that they ever existed? And don't tell me about isolated specimens that cannot be proven either way because there would have been a HUGE number of these "middle species" that there should be just as HUGE a record of these things in the fossil record, so where is it???

And do you want to explain the human footprints found alongside the dinosaur footprints?? How is this possible if there is literally millions or billions of years between the two!

You are conventently forgetting the currently existing apes as well as the extinct species australopithecines, Homo habilis or Homo erectus. All have extensive fossil records all you need to do is open you eyes and look.

And do you want to explain the human footprints found alongside the dinosaur footprints?? How is this possible if there is literally millions or billions of years between the two!

Are you talking about the Paluxy River Valley footprints, which contain a mixture of indistinct footprints and outright forgeries by a person called George Adams who is known to have carved and sold at least several "giant man tracks" and dinosaur tracks on loose slabs of rock. George's nephew Wayland once even related his uncle's carving technique to a group of creationist researchers, noting that his uncle would start with a suitable sized block already containing a depression, and then carve in human features at his leisure under the shade of a tree.
Of course you have some photos and/or other evidence to prove me wrong, don't you?

Well Fuscus, seeing as though I opened my big mouth and got involved in this again I am going to do a bit of research so I can present and backup what I say properly, there is no point just saying things, I may aswell go the whole hog, I don't have time tonight, but tomorrow I will do some research and probably post relating to this tomorrow afternoon or night as I may need to visit the library to confirm some of my "facts".
