Hi all,
I thought I had blown a reflector light so I went to replace it and the new reflector light wouldn't screw in. As it turns out, I now have a faulty ceramic ES fitting (there was nothing wrong with the reflector light). Have a look at my enclosure set up and I will explain the problem.
The light on the left side is the faulty one. It is wired in parallel with the ceramic heat lamp in the middle.
My question is would I be better off replacing the ceramic heat lamp in the middle with a reflector light as a temporary fix to provide more heat until I can get an electrician in to replace the faulty ceramic ES fitting? Both heat sources are 60 watts. The reflector light on the right works OK and is also 60 watts.
