A trend I've noticed over the years is the wording used by sellers to offload their latest seasons hatchies.

The animals are selectively bred for temperament, patterning, colour etc etc etc. Its almost like there is a specific template used these days.

Now, of course no one is going to list their animals as flighty, snappy pricks that'll latch on to the nearest piece of skin, that were thrown out by a dam of suspect origins and fathered by the first available python that was of near-enough suitable species that may or may not turn out looking ok.

Sure, alot of breeders DO put in huge amounts of time and effort to breed down to a specific but as sure as eggs, alot of breeders just throw things together and hope for the best and some money come the end of summer.

Who actually reads and pays attention to the sales description anymore, knowing thats its almost identical to the last one that was read?

My, my, my!

You ARE a cynical one, Beard!

But I do agree with you.

Hahah If I ever breed these filthy tempered Jungles they'll be marketed as a special line called "Satan's Spawn".

Fed daily on only the finest human flesh available.

I'll make a killing!

My favourite is dogging other people's lines for a sale indirectly.

Or when people say "no more photo collectors"...well...if you had a photo in your ad, people wouldn't have too ask you for one, only too realize if they'd seen the photo in the ad, they wouldn't have contacted you in the first place.

I hate weird names they add to make a sale... almost to justify why their animal looks ordinary... like if it's genetic? It's confusing to say the least lol.

Now, of course no one is going to list their animals as flighty, snappy pricks that'll latch on to the nearest piece of skin, that were thrown out by a dam of suspect origins and fathered by the first available python that was of near-enough suitable species that may or may not turn out looking ok.

I do... I sold one the other week
