Well, I'll be at home with all my mates cleanin out enclosures and then cleaning out some more enclosures and then some more plus some other enclosures that need cleaning as well as the ones over there that also need cleanin...... .

I will then be sorting and gassing a heap of ratties to be frozen.

Then if my leg and time permits, I will be setting up my aviary for my diamonds to go outside for cooling this yr.

What you gonna do AFTER lunch mate?

Didn't you read the thread Afro, I have to entertain Greg at 2pm and I have the other lucky person coming over to pick up their free beardy as well. Hows Gregs form, havce the kettle on at 2pm, how rude.......

Hey Mick, what sort of bike you getting now??

Maleny is very nice and if I was up there I would go with you for a bike ride. One day I will ride up there just to get away from this sh1thole they call Sydney....LOL

Ah thakyou afro...you read my mind.....LOL we all know it's beer'o'clock by then.

Same ones i have been thinking of all along just my heart keeps saying kwaka but like the practicality of the blackbird i am still researching and saving ,I dont want to jump in and regret it!
When your in south windsor next have a look at 636 george st thats where i lived most of my school life !

I will do Mick. It's a hard choice picking the right bike. I know I had serious dilemas about it. But am happy now. A bit of both worlds for me sport/touring and it's all good.

There are so many to choose from with benefits from them all .
I love the look and sound of vtrs but the fuel range is just not good enough.
I will be getting a sport tourer if my mind wins out though :)

Fuel range can be a big issue, my mates CBR954RR doesn't have much range, he is stopping at every servo where as I get about 400k's on mine. Thank god for a 25litre fuel tanl.

I get about 20 ks to the litre with a 19 litre tank so theoretically i can get 380 ks but i usually fill up at 250-280 just in case

II normally fill up at 300ks, not point pushing the friendship. I get about 5.5litres/100ks on average, but can get down to 4.5l/100k if i cruise on about 90k/h. Up to 120 and it goes up to 6.5l/100k.

Thats the average i get with all my riding which is mainly through town at warp speed and over the ranges not to much highway for me .

In all my years(not telling how old I am), I've never been to Sydney. I reckon all the traffic and too many people would stress me out to the max. Little ol Renmark suits me down to the ground, only about 9,000 people here. And a very nice Murray River playground as well!. Ive been through Brissie, lived in Melb for 15 yrs when Dad was stationed there in the Army during my teenage years, but then been a bushie ever since I left home at 19yrs and went to the Alice on a working holiday. Only been back to Melb for very short trips. Born and bred in Perth originally. Been in SA for the last 30yrs and love it!

Mine is mostly on old highways, too many idiots on the roads in Sydney, bike riders included. Had one guy on his old clapped out touring bike ride past like no tomorrow wearing a siglet, shortand sandles with a smoke hanging out his mouth, dodgeing through the traffic like a total f'wit at twice the speed of the traffic. What an idiot.

I love the open roads wher you can get out and open the bike up, have a good blast and then hit the pub for a beer.....aaaahhhh, makes me want to go for a ride. LOL

LOL, as long as you enjoy a cold drink after a hard ride.

SA, not sure, dry,hot and freezing. Can sell herps in shops. Simon Stone lives down there along with Rodent Ranchers, URS and a few more....

Hey, speaking about bikes? Dave has got a pretty crook back. Can't get back into the XT500 Yammies anymore. He's looking towards an armchair bike like a Goldwing? Anybody know anything bout these bikes at all? We both think that a road bike like this might be very tame compared to the XT's. But they do look comfortable for touring? Neither of us are impressed by Harley's so don't try and talk us around. Our XT used to have a side car! That was heaps of fun, especially once Dave learned to control the bike with that attached. He had to ride around with a bag full of sand to help him learn how to control it. LOL!

 I reckon the bag of sand would handle better then a harley !
I dont know a lot about them only they are big and look very comfortable for touring
