If you want a big tourer like that, you have two IMO to choose from,Harley excluded, and they would be the Honda Goldwing or the BMW K1200GT. The latest BMW has a hydraulic centre stand so it is even easier to park. They both have reverse, cruise, cd,4 speaker stereo....etc etc. Both are awesome and both are very very comfy for both rider and pillion. Heaps of storage on both. I have ridden both and recomend you try both before you buy.

And they handle suprisingly well for a big bike. Wayne Gardner rode one 2yrs back at snowy ride and f me can he ride. He left a heap of ppl behind on the goldwing it was really funny. Ppl on smaller quicker bikes couldn't keep up with him.

No beer just bundy and coke for me !

I'll vote for the Bundy and Cola cans Mick. SA is great. Don't know about Adelaide(I/we aren't into city life), but the country life is a great life for kids/family etc.

One of the guys I ride with owns one. Has about 110,000plus k's on it and still looks and runs like new. He has helmet to helmet intercom so he and his missus can chat all the way while they crank out th tunes on the cd. Pretty awesome for that style of bike. I also think the BMW looks much better. They are like sitting in an armchair in your lounge.

Hey Mick, come n live in SA. Where's the job, I'll look up some info bout the area and email it to you ok? Pretty laid back here. And if you r in Adelaide, free freight for your ratties, unless I have to send em down on the bus? Cheers

Do you reckon he could give ghostrider a run for his money ?

Ahhh.....mmmm don't quite think so for some reason.....LOL.

Have showed some of my mates that DVD Mick and all have said the same as me...F'n unbelieveable.

hmmm?? what's ghostrider huggy? Is that a movie? If so haven't seen it. Don't have a DVD player or video recorder/player at the moment. Might look at getting a DVD player later on?

It will be in adelaide itself working for mitsubishi dont know a lot about it yet just got told about it today .
Ghostrider is a psycho bike rider over in europe he rides through city traffic at over 200 ks dodging traffic and cops

It's a DVD about a guy in Sweden? or somewhere like that that is just a speed freak on a bike. I mean he rides in peak hr,although on what appears to be conecting higways, his bike a total of 68kms in under 15mins. His average speed is like 273km/h, that average speed. Top speed is maxed out at about 300km/h. He rides between trucks and cars, like over the white lines, at over 280k's. He rides a turbo hyabusa with over 400horses and pops the front wheel up over a rise at over 320clicks. I mean the guy is s nut bag. Very funny when he plays with thecops though.

Sorry Mick, I did the long version...LOL

What do you do for Mitsubishi, or for work I should say.

Wow! that ghost rider sounds like an utter nutter! Mick you would like Adelaide, its like a really big Country Town. Plenty to do and see, like coming up to Renmark or a lot of other places on the Murray. Plenty of fishing up the coastal areas, etc, etc. You can do anything in Adelaide that you can do in Brissie, just on a smaller scale. If you take the job, try and get a house in the Northern subs, or up in the Adelaide hills etc

My trade is a coach and motor body builder .
And they are looking for people in my trade to go and work there .They offerred me $9 an hour more place pay for relocation I dont know if i would like the type of work might be to much repetition for me .I will email them again to find out more. They have been advertising for a few months and only had one application that has led to a start

You should take some time off and go and stay there for a bit, look at the weather temps for a year etc. That way you can suss out where you would like to live and what sort of weather to expect. I noticed it was a very dry heat which is much nicer than humidity.

dobermanmick
I have been pricing around to get a new body built for the back of my Landcruiser, aluminum boxes like on the supply authority trucks racks etc and all tool boxes, do you do that soughta stuff much

We do pretty much everything we are very busy atm got heaps of ambulances and aircon service vehicles + rural fire trucks to build .
Its a bit far to come just to get a body done though .
