i reckon the best way to tell size from a pic is to have someone holding it and either a full shot if it's a big snake or just hands if it's not so big. but that's just my personal preference

Browny looks like you have been had, i can't see how a female that size could breed now let alone the last 2 yrs, she's tiny. If it was a male then wouldn't be a worry.
Get them to send you pics of her on the eggs or laying them, see what they say to that.
Missing a few feeds is going to make any difference at all, sounds like they are trying to cover up. Probably thought you were a sucker.
That offspring is a darwin no doubt.

I are not against you browns i am with you on this stuff and if you cant see that the supposed offspring is darwin as nome states also you have a plantation up there and all the dope smoking is affecting your eye sight young dude.No ones going to tell me that female produced eggs last year as well as previous to that. :roll:

"Maybe?" as the seller also bred darwins she just sent you the wrong photo of offspring. This would be an honest mistake. Or maybe when she sold that hatchling she took it from the wrong tub as it is definately a darwin carpet.

Your right about that steve it is a darwin and there hasnt been a stuff up with photos cause that female hasnt bred before its just deception and lies to get extra dollars from a sale.Thats how i see it in black and white.

Well i've made up for the feeds it would've missed in two days with 2 nice sized medium to large rats and now she looks breedable :roll: :lol: I'll keep feeding her very well for another month or more and see what size she is then which would be a hell of a lot bigger than it is now i guarantee it!
Or should i wait to hear from these people and tell them i want a full refund as the snakes are not what they were described as and female is definitely not in breeding condition?And unless there's some proof of that Darwin looking animal i will refuse to believe them.Opinions anyone else?
Nup they were adimint that that was produced by that pair of mongrels which they seemed very legit about.I'll dig up the pic that was on the add which makes them look like breeding size no worries and unfortunately the writing next to the pic didn't save with it as at the bottom referring to the front animal it said large female..

Here's the pic from the advertisement with the female in the front and they do appear to be breeding size but photos can be very deceiving as i've found out.I was expecting a 6 foot thumper and got a 5 foot lanky streak of pelican shyte :evil:

Yep Tim that's what i am thinking of doing now.Why waste food and time just to see if she'll breed when i can tell you now she is tiny and nowhere near being ready to breed or breeding condition.I'll wait for a reply from them and reevaluate again..

Yeah soory peoples,this started out as someone giving URS a good rap which i also did but went off topic a little so i apologise for that as it may have looked bad for URS who had nothing to do with what i'm raving on about.URS have been very proffesional every time i've delt with them and supplied some lovely animals.
What i don't really understand is the title of the thread..what's the ggo with Darwinian Theory Greebers?Who's the candidate,this is n't that funny to me so i would've suggested in retrospect that you could've chosen a more appropriate title for a serious thread!!!

That' one tiny feed but looks like that's what they've been getting fed :roll: :lol:
Well one feed every 9-11 days on a 1.3 kg food item i don't belieive as this female couldn't possibly swallow anything even close to half of 1.3 kg and 5 feeds at 1.3 kg each feed that snake would be one fat mother if it could actually swallow anything that size :roll: :lol:

No worries greebs,maybe just rename it "Be Wary Buying sight unseen from a non reputable breeder" or" Ripped off BIG TIME" "SCAM OR NOT??" Preferably one of the last 2 just so it's taken seriously by others who may think it's not.
Ricko as soon as they arrive the pics will be up mate,and yep amyae the biggest knob tail around and awesome to actually see in the flesh to be able to appreciate them as opposed to looking at a pic of one
