"Go in there and tell them off in front of other customers......"

This was a regular occurence on all shifts i worked their. But feel free to continue it. I still don't understand how it is still running.

was that a hatchie or old one, the older ones not bad for antheron ;), shocking place to go though. Very bad in there, all i'll say is it's yellow and has birds, lots of birds ;)

it's not the only shop that shouldn't be open, i have made numerous complaints in on a particular shop and they don't seem to care. pay the fines clean up their act for a few months and then back to normal, everything sick, herps, birds, dogs laying in their own filth.

Keep onto the authorities but, eventually they might shut them down.

Been there too and i was totally shocked, even my 7yr old daughter could see that the animals didn't seem right. There were some very sickly looking animals.
Had a very negative experience many years ago with "them" when i purchased a cocky from them.
As it turned out the cocky was very young and ended up at the vet having treatment and in the end the poor bird died, this store refused to speak to me over the phone reguarding the bird and i was told a one point that it wasn't their problem.
They should be shut down, disgrace of a store. It stinks but that proberly due to the puppy farm they have out the back.

I just wish there were exceptions to assault and/or murder charges- Man, wouldn't members of this forum just love it :D [well.. i would]

I was gonna suggest going into the store and taking the "rescue" of their safety into your own hands.

If the poaching/illegal allegations are correct, then the store would think twice about reporting stolen animals.
If I were you, I'd go in with a group, cause a distraction and walk out with said suffering animal a la Ace Ventura.

Or be less sneaky and storm in with mates and grab what you can.

I'd be seriously up for it, if I lived in the area.
100% serious here.

cmon now 2 wrongs dnt make a right but there could be an exception here.i just hope fellow new south welshman are taking note as were the ones kicking up a stink not being allowed to buy/sell herps in pet shops as this would definetly happen here too

just for pets or world for pets (forgot the name) next door to sandown bunnings? just got back from there needed some crix. the reptiles there dont look flash

ps someone tell me if we arent allowed to mention names lol. if we arent then im sorry, it just seems everyone is too scared to post a name about anything or anybody doing the wrong thing. are we simply not allowed to say "so and so store is selling sick animals..."

Already see it here, just not with reptiles yet. Go to any "local" markets and you'll see dodgy blokes selling animals they've just caught in the wild.

I went to Minto markets once, out west, and saw these poor cockatoos in cages. Two to a cage, that isn't even big enough for one cocky, let alone two.

what state is this pet shop in?

Today tonight would be good for a pet story lol they seem to get thier nose into everything else lately so write to them and tell them about it. :D

the pet shop is is springvale victoria i have been sent a few pics to my email and will upload them later.

sam.

sammcarthy, do anything you can to expose these guys its horrible that anyone could keep animals in a state like that. it makes me sick just thinking about it. if you keep onto the people that can actually do something about it and possibly get more people to do the same. eventually someone has to act. they cant keep turning a blind eye to it.

they have been complained about,to there faces and dse ect ect, nothing happens, and its not the odd animal, its quite a few,i drop in like sam does, just for a squiz,i feel sorry for the animals,if they wernt asking such ridiculas prices,id try and save some of them, lol, another clue, they have electric fencing surrounding there shop, lol, probably doesnt work though as the cheap turds cant even look after there animals, just goes to show that some people see them as dollar signs, also ive noticed the bosses are never on the floor, just young staff that generally dont have a clue, some of the info they give customers is astonishing, what i dont understand is how they cant look after there stuff properly, they have the staff, but dont even seem to try,its not the only shocking shop either, but takes the cake for me as the worst, clue number 2,the bosses drive like pretty moden mustangs, imported obviously, lol, and they dont even heat there cages well, its rare to see a light on in the cages, those big ackies were fat when they first got them to by the way,but they barely have any heat and there room is like open to outside temps as well, they have lizards in click clacks at the cool end of cages which probably dont get heat either, its like they run drugs or something and the animals r there just for a cover, lol, did anyone else see they had a mitchels water monitor there around 12 months ago,was in the bottom cage at the bak left hand corner of the room, emiciated but suprisingly active, and was for sale as a mitchels as well,i thought awsome they had been added to the list but obviously not,lol

LOL i was gonna mention today tonight, the chasers war on anything showed this interview they done on some story of an 'eye witness' that didnt even see or hear the incident happen and only knew about it when they turned on their tv lmao, so yeah im sure theyd be desperate to snap up some story XD.

hi everyone,
i went to a certain pet shop in springvale (i only go there to see if there is any bad looking animals) and saw a atherton jung that was continuously squirming and it body was twisting it looked like it was in absolute agony,

i also saw a ridgey there thats eyes were sunken in and was very malnourished.
every time i leave there i fell sick.

i have complained previously and nothing ever happens.

thanks,

sam.

I would have bought that one just so I could treat him. :( I've done that before with other animals
