Smooth Knob Tailed Gecko Help

Hey guys got my geckos couple days ago what's it mean when they wiggle the ball on their tail against the sand plus I was told to keep hot end 32? Is that right

yes with my knoby when ever he is hunting he does that with his tail and yes my tems are at 32 on hot side and any were from 15 to 26 on the cold side

Lol the tail wiggling is caudal luring and is normal for them thay do it when feeding or get excited by something I find it interesting to watch
