the longest thing to do was the chocolate branches in total it took 3 days due to having to melt the chocolate then layer it and letting it dry between layers

but in total for the whole cake it has taken about 5 days

awsome jeramie, your mom should definitly start making them for profit, most people would pay aroud $100 for a cake like that, that is why the bloke gave her $80 because its worth every cent.
If it takes about a week to make 1 cake she could easily take orders for a few and make them at the same time and pull a few hundred a week doing something she oblviosly enjoys and is very good at.

thanks for that TB she has come up with a price around $100-$150 the 2 cakes i posted are very basic compared to what she normally makes the family and friends
trying to find some photo albums and when i do i might scan the pictures in and upload them of other cakes she has made

next cake she makes she is thinking of either filming it or taking pictures to show people how to make them

if she had more people asking for them should would make more and selling them

and she agrees with you Rob that she could make more than one as one is setting or drying or whatever she could be working on another
