Oh jeez. I found the post thing...
Okay anyway. Last time I tried posting it was in like the wiki section... Sorry about that. Anyway.

So today I was feeding my 2 month old Jungle Python for the second time. I bought him two weeks ago from a dodgy sort of guy who I think had bought him off of someone else just to sell them for more. (He had three.)
He's a very nice python, and has only bitten me once in a defensive manor. (I BLED TO DEATH, YUP.)
Anyway, he really sucks at eating, and had gotten into a strange position. Me pulling an idiot move, I sort of moved his tail, and then he started wrapping himself around me. And then I sort of panicked, and pulled him off. But I'm scared I might have hurt him. I know it was dumb of me to touch him, but he did end up eating the pinky, and is now coiled up in the corner of his terrarium. (On the warm side.)
But anyway, can anyone tell me if he could have been hurt by this?
And yes I know not to handle him for two days, and I'll put some pictures of him from earlier on last week up if I can. I don't even know how to.

Okay, that's good. Hopefully he is. Thanks for replying by the way. And I'm going to try and add some photos now. :D

when you say you pulled him off what do you mean? was he just coiled around your finger or was he biting you and still attached. If he was biting you and you tried to pull him off you can damage their teeth which could lead to an infection but if he was just coiled around your finger dont stress. They are strong little buggers and you would know if you done some damage because you would have to be quite rough. as far as holding them goes after feeding as long as you are gentle with them and its not excessive i dont see a problem with it. Just think of all the people who feed them in seperate enclosures. They have to get them in the original enclosure some way.

He was coiled around my wrist, just his tail. I don't think I was too rough, and then when he finished he did start cruising around the tub I fed him in, so I just put it against his actual enclosure and he slithered in.
Thanks for the reply. :)

yeah he will be fine. sometimes you need to use a bit of force to uncoil them.

Haha, that's good. I was actually surprised by how strong they were when I first held him! Muscular little guys.
Thanks for the reply! :D
