My 12 month old Cape York python was fed 10 days ago. She had 2 very small mice. She has this amount of food in one meal many times before.

This week when I noticed that that it was not realy digisting to well (still had a lump in her belly) I did not feed her just left her.

To day when I checked her she had brought it back up.

Questions
Why did this happen?

Is it any thing to worry about?

What should I do now, Feed her or wait?

Thanks for the help.

as others have said what are the temps? if the temp isnt warm enough it slows digestion. your snake should digest its food in 4 or 5 days. temp should be around 30deg

Temps are around 30 - 32

Outside temps have been high in Melbourne this week as well. it has also been warm all through the night

temps sound good. but have you double checked them with another themometer just to make sure they are correct? you could try feeding again and watch how your snake goes with this feed.

Ground temp was high (32) due to heat cord but Air temp was only about 25 have increased temp.

Tried to feed tonight but she was not interested

This happened to my male bredli on friday. I'm not sure why but he is ok now. Was the rat warm enough? it could of been rotten in his gut so he regurged it.

Give her a break for a week or so and try again. Take a sample of the next crap to a vet for checking.
