So a quick update…
Priti has been in her hide all day, occasionally peeking out. Ive been doing some housework in my bedroom where she is. Im convinced shes female as the rescue centre were told female when they remived her from the keeper, and 2 the long slender tail (going by research males are stubbier taper and a shorter distance to tip, so yeah. Shes now called Priti. Consensus seems to be a Coastal X MD mutt… I dont care because Priti is sooooo pretty
Here are some pow light shots of her plus some flash shots. Im hoping once shes shed (milky stage now past) she will become a lot more active during lights on allowing far better shots of her feeshly shed skin.
The plan would then be to crack the viv door and let her decide when she wants to explore hwr surroundings, or indeed me further.
Ive had some nice sunbleached driftwood washed and have been baking gradually bringing up to 300 f for about 4 hours now (the last hour being full pelt so im going to gove that a final brish over tomorrow and build up her climb zone to the right hand side and perhaps compliment it with some banana leafs and what not for cover.
So yeah, thats my uodate.
Any suggestions or notes (guesses) be appreciated. Age, pattern, size to weight ratio (2.5 kg) etc etc (by the limited images ive uploaded.
Cheers
