I've been expecting this, but just want to get advice/tips and basically just see if what I'm doing is correct. She lives alone so I'm assuming she used to live with a male and has retained sperm. She laid her eggs this morning/right now (she's hidden away in the back depths of her tank so I'm not convinced shes finished). She seems to be guarding them, and as i've read its best to wait until she loses interest before removing them from the tank. However, she's a silly little lizard and decided to lay her eggs on Astroturf instead of in her coir peat section of her enclosure. Will this be an issue if I leave it for a day?
I'm planning to incubate them at room temperature, mainly because I don't have an incubator. However based on my research this will be just fine as long as temperatures don't exceed 34*. Living in sydney though this worries me, so should I attempt to leave the eggs to incubate in the coolest part of the house?
I also have had a brief glimpse of the eggs and a couple look dented, is this a bad thing or something to be worried about?
Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!
