my last venus went domant for winter and never returned..yet anyway, think i let it dry out too much, gotta keep em wet! :lol:
 
venus flytraps are kool,but mine always died after afew weeks

Yeah, everyone seems to have that problem, I can't understand why, they're the easiest plant to grow that I know of.
 
yeah that was my problem, i alway got them in the dry season
 
Oh! I didn't notice you're in Darwin, I imagine they'd be hard to grow up there, unless you owned or had access to a cool room for a few months each year.

yeh same, i think it's cause i couldnt be bothered untill it caught a fly naturally so i kept ctaching them and feeding it too them, and then i tried to open the trap to see what the fly looked like. Then they died. DAM! lol
 
My biggest one lasted for years! Then I got the bright idea of trying to replant it! Dum,dum,dum,dumb! Guess what? lol Don't do it!

I repotted my four yesterday :shock:

I'm not expecting them to die from it :) Did you replant yours into dirt/soil?
