Yea water does the trick every time well don i couldnt help but notice noticed that ur using some sort of dust is it aspen? Not tryna be a tool mate but from past expiriences aspen has been a real problem for me as many of my snakes got it stuck in the sides of their mouths and i also found it to be quite dusty wich means they inhail a lot of that dust and that can cause some problems so i stuck to news paper and it works great cheap, easy to clean and best of all doesnt effect the snake other than that you have a great lil snake, have a good one.
yeah thats what i was thinking too. but it said thats the best bedding for it. so what bout the heat mat? coz i read on the back of the heat mat package that you need the snake to have at least 2cms of substrate on top of the heat mat? should i just turn down the heat on the mat then?

I've had 2 in the last month with the same issue, I just rolled it of with a nail.

theyre pretty persistent on getting out so i just held her and soaked her tail which had the left over shed for about 15 minutes. and rubbed it with no pressure with a damp warm towel. it comes off easy =) hope it comes off for you!
