i have a 3 foot female spotted , her name is Gilbert, anyway she keeps biting herself, and will only let go when i put a little drop of white alcohol in her mouth. she is a healthy snake , never had mites or any other problems. any suggestions? :?

Snakes have been known to bite themselves due to pain or irritation...
Try a luke warm bath first ..see if that helps ..but if not, I would say it might be a time to seek vet help ...to rule out any health problem she could be having ...
