What is your preferred substrate for blue tongues?

I use wood chips about 2" deep and she loves to burrow through it

Babies = I used butcher's paper or news paper.

For adults = 1/2 the enclosure lined with paper sheets (the feeding area and water dish area) and the other 1/2 a layer of COURSE Kritters' Crumble , they love the stuff and burrow through it and look for lost insects in it.

Thanks, I am buying my son his first fair of Lizards for his 10th birthday and I'm used to snakes not lizards so I thought I would check

kritter krumble might be fine for snakes but steer clear of using it for lizards,it has a bad reputation for causing impaction

I've used Coir Peat for Geckos before without an issue to date... Might depend on the type of Lizrad I guess?

KK is mainly an issue with bearded dragons but other lizards might be affected also,so it is worth checking out

Thanks everyone, This is where I always get confused people all have different ideas on substrate lol Maybe I will just let all my lizards sleep in my bed
