Tattooing requlations in victoria?

Just wondering about the laws in vic regarding tattoo's as i wish to get one but am only 17, i have dads full consent and he is willing to come down with me but im not sure if it is 18 no matter what? can anyone shed some light,

Have your old man go with you with proof his your dad also give a few places a call and ask them I had my first few done at 15.

in qld the law is 16 with parent or guardian wouldnt think its diferent in vic

Yep, pretty sure you cant until you are 18 regardless. Parents or guardians are not allowed to sign/authorise any more.

There are a couple of dodgy places that will do it now , DONT . Do yourself a huge favor , wait till you are 18 , then book in at one of the better places for a quality job . Tatts are for life , get some ART not a cheap cartoon .
