Hi all, just after some info, and I did try to search for ticks topics but getting frustrated with the results.
I was wondering how do they get on our lovely pythons, and how do you get them off? Do they change the mood of them? Sorry if it's the same treatment as mites too... Thank you ????

with ticks you will not find them in captivity, unless of course you housed your animals outside, I have found many ticks on wild carpets, i usually used tweezers to remove them, make sure to get the heads

Captive snakes can get ticks if they are kept outside or when you give them a crawl around on the grass. It's just one of the things that can happen if you take them outside. Don't stress to much though as they are not like mites where you get infestations. When you find one just use tweezers to pull it off making sure to get the head. They do not affect the mood to my knowledge.
Cheers Cameron.
