i have lots of different ones from when the house was being built

can i use tiles or will it get to cold? pictures of other enclosure would help thanks :)

thanking you
Ben.

Tiles are great if you have a heater under them, they hold the heat very well.

I use em in with my python hatchies.

hey,
My beardie tank is really big and has tiles on the bottom, but I put sand ontop of that, but sometimes use the tiles without the sand for some areas of the tank. My tiles are probably bout 1 foot squared i guess.

these pics are pretty old (and those beardies are a lot bigger) but yeah, the tiles are underneath the sand.
doesnt get too cold, but my tiles are sorta rough, not like bathroom tiles. If you want I can take a pic of one.

oh yeah, also in my old gecko tank i had tiles as the substrate (with a heat pad underneath). But with rocks, logs, sand ontop etc its not too cold.
