Turtle not eating...help!

Our turtle has stopped eating, does anyone have any suggestions?
He is lethargic and making continuos munching motions but won't eat.
There are no sores, marks or shell problems, he just won't eat no matter what we try to entice him with.

hey mate, we also live in adelaide and even if your tank is heated they can go off their food for a while due to the season of when they would normaly hibernate, + turtles could go as long as snakes could with out food, i belive

What species, age and size of turtle, please? At what temperature (thermometer reading, not thermostat setting) is his water, please? Do you have a UV basking light. A picture of the turtle and his enclosure would help us to help you. Those "continuous munching motions" worry me. You may need to get a herp vet to look in his mouth and down his throat. I suspect some sort of blockage that he is trying to dislodge by moving his jaw.
