Hi mate, 4-5 grams of salt per litre of water in the aquarium... 4.00 - 5.00 ppt (parts per thousand).Hi,
Just checking the recommended salinity range for turtles? I have it at 0.32% as I haven't replenished it over the last few water changed. But have forgotten which reading I need?
Thanks!View attachment 331644
So if I bring it up to 0.40% -0.50% that’s correct? Can’t seem to work out how to change my meter to ppt.Hi mate, 4-5 grams of salt per litre of water in the aquarium... 4.00 - 5.00 ppt (parts per thousand).
I understand that, but as I did not have scales at the time I was judging by my salinity reader to give a accurate reading.Just work out the volume of your aquarium.... for example... 100 litres of water, you need to add anywhere between 400 and 500 grams of salt.
