Typical in as much as that no one can have a differing opinion from the majority. It's been shown time and time again Jan that if you don't go with the flow you are branded a trouble maker or bitter. Bitter? Me? I was merely stating fact Jan and again I'm singled out as the bad guy. It must be sad going through life as you do Jan. You call me bitter yet at every turn when I point out some cold hard fact you lock threads or delete posts to avoid the truth or upsetting the status quo. You know me Jan, you've been to my house a couple of times, you've met my family, you've seen my animals. I'm not a bitter person, I'm the sort of person that doesn't blindly agree with everyone. I speak out about issues when there are plainly 2 sides to it and ignorance is so obviously a factor and for that you call me bitter??

I don't know why you dislike me so much Greg, I have no problem with you.Everytime I see your name next to a post, I know it will be another post bagging someone (usually me) and you reckon I'm predictable..Fortunately, I usually get a laugh from your jibes as I don't care enough to be insulted.

That's just it Greebs, they're usually just good natured jibes. Usually there's no malice intended. It's just a shame that so much of what I've said over the years has been taken so badly. I'm not a big fan of smilies but maybe I better start spreading them through my posts so as to not upset everyone. Deep down Greebs you're as cynical about this place as I am. I just speak my mind on occasions. I've made some great friends here on APS in the process and obviously lots of enemies too. Ya just can't please everyone. It just seems to me that if you don't respond to every single thread then you don't fit the mold.

I called saikrett a peasant for his ignorant comment about Jack Johnson being Robert Johnson's son. My previous post at that time was void of any of the smiley faces that you people seem to need to discern whether a comment is made tongue-in-cheek or not.

Just to let you all know again.
I have nothing against argument carried out in regards of a herps or other aspects of our hobby.
But please remember that I am strongly against rubbishing APS and our community and starting fights on personal level. That is reason I locked the topic Immoral APS about Mites from Mel and criticized Greg( farkurnel) for his post about APS.
I am just protecting our community as best I can and I will not tolerate this in the future , no meter how much some of you will complain.

That is not helping anybody and just attacking management of APS against way this site is run.
So Greg again, please do not attack APS and moderators continuously and if you do not like the way how we run this site, you are welcom to leave to another community if you do not stop doing that, we would have to ban you. It is many of the herp oriented sites on the net where people are left along to post anything they like, and fights between the members take ower herp hoby.

My comments weren't aimed at APS moderators, the site or anyone in particular Jan, it was a generalisation. What I did say holds a lot of truth though Jan.
I've noticed you've done nothing about cleaning up the Chondros thread. It has resorted to name calling and such.
What's good for one is good for all Jan.

While on such a topic, I think the problem is with how this site is run, before going crazy please read the whole post.

To finally get rid of the majority of problems there is a simple solution, stop allowing people to go off topic in threads, if a question is asked then replies should only be about answering that question or going deeper on that question, no jokes, no ridicule, etc...

Chit chat is the place to make jokes and PM is the place for ridicule! Everywhere else should be ON TOPIC, unfortunately to run a successful community it takes ALOT of work from the moderators, but it takes just as much to fix the mess that is caused by not doing this, I guarantee if the moderators became REALLY STRICT, in a proper fashion this place would smarten up and would be alot more enjoyable for everyone.
